She first served on the Property Owner’s Association of Ivanhoe in Tyler County and was actively involved in it’s incorporation in 2009. She then served as council member until 2014 at which time she became Mayor and served in that capacity until Dec. of 2022. During that time\, she served on the DETCOG Board and on the DETCOG Economic Development Committee. She is currently Chair of the Texas Forest Country Partnership and President of the Tyler County Chamber of Commerce.
