This new rule rescinded a previous rule on this issue published on January 7\, 2021. Classification of a worker as an employee or independent contractor is an important issue\, as it impacts minimum wage requirements\, overtime pay\, and other worker protections. Professor Justin Blount will explain this new rule\, and the impact it may have on how your business classifies its workers. \n\nAbout Professor BlountDr. Justin Blount is an Associate Professor of Business Law in the Rusche College of Business at Stephen F.
