Utility Relocation Not To Affect Patrons And Residents

Date:

The Nacogdoches Animal Shelter is preparing for a week long renovation which will temporarily effect adoptions. The renovations are expected to last from August 31 to September 8. During this time, the facility will not be available for animal adoptions however, they will be open and responding to calls.

With help from Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter, the facility is working to place as many animals as possible in temporary foster homes in order to clear out the adoption rooms. This will allow for the floors to be painted and resealed. If members from the community wish to assist with this, they may fill out an application at the animal shelter. No animals will be fostered for more than two weeks.
