Submissions

We at TFCL are constantly seeking new ways to extend our reach and build new relationships with our loyal readers, and tirelessly working to keep our finger on the pulse of what is happening in our corner of this great state- And what better way to keep in tune with our readers than for you to contribute!? We are looking for people to contribute any type of content- be it written or visual, for us to add to the ever-growing expanse of content which TFCL covers. The Texas Forest Country covers Angelina, Houston, Jasper, Nacogdoches, Newton, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity and Tyler Counties. With content ranging from news, to lifestyle and entertainment, we want to hear from the inner writer or photographer, or videographer in you.

What we are looking for:

Content that motivates, captivates, and inspires but equally as important, content that matters and is relevant to our reading audience is what we seek. When in doubt, ask yourself the following questions: Is it newsworthy, is it relevant and why does it matter? If it matters to you or is of interest, then it almost certainly matters to someone else.

Pitch it to us:

If you have an idea, topic, or any type of content that you would like to submit to Texas Forest Country Living, please do not hesitate to reach out- We would love to hear from you! Our range of topics and content is essentially limitless and we are constantly chasing the next headline.

We do however ask that you send us a brief description of your writing history and background. Be thorough but concise in your pitch and keep it between 200-400 words.

While we are not currently paying contributors for submissions, we do try to provide an excellent opportunity for prospective writers, photographers or videographers a platform to sharpen their skills and get in on the ground floor with us as we grow TFCL’s opportunities and potential into the future. Credit and bylines will also always be credited to you, the author or creator.

Keep in mind that we may not be able to get back with you right away. If you have not heard from us in more than a week then please feel free to give us a little nudge and follow up.

Can’t wait to hear from you! Email us at info@TexasForestCountryLiving.com

So, you have a story idea or a business, event or charity you want featured?

We would like to feature you in TFCLiving.com  Since we are a small publication, it is difficult for us to travel everywhere to do a story in person, so if you can answer the question below, we can write the story from here. There is no charge for this. Here are some generic questions. Feel free to alter the questions to fit your story. Email to info@TexasForestCountryLiving.com
