March 16th in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Since then library staff has
been cleaning library materials, furniture, and computer stations to ensure the safety of
library patrons and staff.

On June 1st, the Nacogdoches Public Library entered Phase One of its reopening

online at www.ci.nacogdoches.tx.us/library. Customers may reserve up to 15 items per

distancing between customers.

Customers may continue to return items through the outdoor book drop. All
returned items are quarantined for seven days. No late fees are being assessed during this
time.

During Phase One the library’s interior remains closed to the public and all library
programs are online. Customers may also continue to access the library’s electronic
