AC Nursing Program Recognized

Date:

Angelina College’s LVN Multi Entry/Exit Program (MEEP-LVN) was recently rated the number one program of its kind in Texas by PracticalNursing.org. The college earned this ranking based on their 100 percent pass rates in the MEEP-LVN program for the last five years.

Tonya LaForge, nursing programs director said, “Angelina College is honored to be ranked as the number one Multi Entry/Exit Program for Vocational Nurses.  We are very thankful and proud of our students and faculty who work extremely hard to make our program a great success.”

According to PracticalNursing.org’s website, pass rates were analyzed going back to the most recent years of data available up to 5 years. Schools’ pass rates were averaged together and weighted by the recency of the exam, e.g. pass rates in 2015 count more towards overall rankings than scores from 2013.

PracticalNursing.org  is a nursing advocacy organization built by nurses and other healthcare industry stakeholders in 2013 to support nursing students.

Registration for classes at Angelina College begins March 21. For more information about nursing programs at Angelina College, contact the Health Careers Division at (936) 633-5265.
