Angelina College’s Office of Outreach is hosting Spotlight Saturday, April 1.
The entire community is welcome to attend this free event featuring campus tours, giveaways, softball and baseball games and children’s activities.
Junior high and high school students and their parents can take campus tours beginning at 10:45 a.m. The tours will start at the Health Careers I building on Daniel McCall Drive.
After the tours, there will be burgers and drawings for $50 gift cards and t-shirts at the AC baseball and softball complex. The baseball and softball teams will start their games at 1 p.m. Concessions will be available.
Parents of younger children will enjoy the Child & Family Spring Fest. The event will be held beside the baseball and softball complex from 10:45 a.m. until 2 p.m. Activities will include games, hay rides, live music and pictures with our Roadrunner athletes. Representatives from day cares and local businesses will also be at Angelina College to provide information about their services.
