Angelina College Hosts Fall Psychology Mini Conference

Angelina College’s Psychology Club will team with grad students from Stephen F. Austin State University in presenting a fall mini-conference on Thursday, Nov. 12 in room 110 of the Social Behavioral Sciences building on the AC campus.

The sessions’ topics and times are as follows:

  • “Intolerance of Uncertainty as a Correlate of Suicidal Ideation” (2:45-3:45 p.m.), led by Michael Cortez and Brooke Bugni
  • “Are You Reading This? The Issues and Importance of Informed Consent Forms” (3:45-4:45), led by Kyle Ripley and Margaret Hance
  • Audience discussion of the topic transgender, with visual assistance of Steven Universe (4:45-5:30), led by Robert Hurt and Deana Jones.
