Angelina College’s men’s basketball team won’t play the scrimmage it had on the books for Wednesday night. Sports Information Director Gary Stallard sent word that the Roadrunners’ 6 p.m. scrimmage against Legacy Houston is canceled, and because it was a scrimmage rather than a game that counts, there’s no makeup date.
That moves the first look at this year’s Roadrunners to opening night. Angelina College tips off the regular season Monday, Nov. 2, against Dallas College-Eastfield. Game time is 6 p.m. at Shands Gymnasium, on the campus at 3500 S. First Street in Lufkin.
