August 1 – Diabetes Support Group, Noon – 1 p.m., CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin Community Education Room. Lunch is provided; this is a free event. August 6 – Childbirth Education Class (1st Class – Prepared Childbirth), 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin Community Room A&B, no fee. The classes are a series of 4 Tuesday night sessions. To RSVP or for more information, please call 936-639-7759.

August 10 & 11 – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Certification, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin Community Education Room, $200 Registration Fee.  To register, please call (936) 639-7140.

August 13 – Childbirth Education Class (2nd Class – Prepared Childbirth), 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin Community Room A&B, no fee. The classes are a series of 4 Tuesday night sessions. To RSVP or for more information, please call 936-639-7759.

August 20 – Childbirth Education Class (3rd Class – C-section, Anesthesia, Alternatives to Anesthesia and Postpartum Care), 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin Community Room A&B, no fee.
