CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin Volunteer Auxiliary Awards $10,000 In Scholarships

Date:

Most days visitors can smell the delicious aroma of popcorn as soon as they enter CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin. The smell comes from the Memorial Volunteer Auxiliary popcorn machine.

Funds raised through the sales of popcorn go toward scholarships that are awarded annually to students pursuing a health care related degree.

During a recent reception, the volunteers awarded $10,000 in scholarships to ten deserving area students.
