CHI St. Luke’s Valet Team Donates $500 To Scholarship Fund

Date:

Two vital organizations within CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial are working together to help students pursue their degrees in the medical field. Each year, the Volunteer Auxiliary awards several $1,000 scholarships to local students hoping to become doctors, nurses and technicians.

The proceeds from every bag of popcorn sold at the Lufkin facility help make these scholarships possible. But on Thursday, June 23, the Volunteers got a helping hand from the Valet team who presented a check for $500 to the Scholarship Fund. The money was raised through donations given to the hospital’s valet team for a job well done.
