The Deep East Texas Association of Builders is sponsoring a two day event in which local businesses will be showcasing their products and services, and anyone can get advice about a new home, money saving home efficiency, remodeling, and outdoor living area tips.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.

Neches River Rendezvous 2016
Saturday, June 4th, 7:30 a.m.
An annual summer tradition, the Neches River Rendezvous is a 10-mile trip on the Neches River. Designed to promote outdoor wilderness adventure in East Texas, the event frames a day of paddling with the panoramic Neches River and surrounding forests in a family-oriented experience. A hamburger lunch is served after the paddling trip. Free Shuttle service is provided to and from the river.

Proceeds from the annual Pineywoods Cattle Baron’s Gala Clay Shoot benefit the American Cancer Society.

Lufkin FUMC Vacation Bible School
Monday, June 6 – Friday, June 10, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Children who have completed K-3rd grade are welcome to join us as Joseph takes his journey from palace to prison with songs, snacks, crafts, and more. Grades four and five grade are welcome to participate in Extreme Camp.
Free admission, but a t-shirt is included when a $10 donation is given.
