Tee It Up For Teachers Golf Tournament
Monday, June 13, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Join the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce for the 9th annual Tee It Up For Teachers Golf Tournament on Monday, June 13th. Funds from the tournament provide training opportunities for Angelina County teachers from the county’s six independent school districts.The goal is to work with the public schools in helping secure the additional needed resources for educating local children.
Lunch will be served on the course. Beer, soda and water as well as snacks are available on the course throughout the day.
The day concludes with hors d’oeuvres, golfer awards, and door prize drawings.
Please note that because there will be a full scramble format, team scoring will apply.

Crossroad Baptist Church Submerged Vacation Bible School
Friday, June 10, from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Children who have completed K-6th grade are welcome to join this three day long “Submerged” Vacation Bible School. Kids will get to participate in Bible related activities, crafts, music, and more.
Free admission. Registration will be held Friday, but anyone can register early by calling 936-875-2810 any day this week from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Blueberry Bluegrass Concert In The Park
Friday, June 10, 6-10 p.m.
The concert is free, family friendly, and presented by Rex Perry Autoplex. There will be four bluegrass bands from Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. It is a part of the Texas Blueberry Festival. We’ll have vendors with delicious food and cold drinks.
