DETCOG To Hold August Board Meeting In Groveton

The Board of Directors of the Deep East Texas Council of Governments (DETCOG) will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. The board will meet at the Groveton Community Center in Groveton, Texas. A luncheon will be served at noon, with the board meeting to follow.

Welcoming members and guests to Trinity County will be Trinity County Judge Doug Page; Groveton Mayor Bryon Richards; Trinity County Commissioners, Grover (Tiger) Worsham, Richard (Rich) Chamberlin, Neal Smith and Jimmy Brown; Trinity County Attorney Joe Warner Bell and Trinity County Minority Representative Ralph Bennett.

DETCOG President, Lufkin City Councilmember Lynn Torres would like to extend an invitation to meeting to all interested parties. Anyone needing information concerning the meeting may contact the DETCOG office in Jasper at (409) 384-5704.
