Jeans for a Cause

Date:

Georgia-Pacific employees are going casual this summer to not only beat the heat, but to raise awareness and funds for the Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County. Each month the Diboll Regional Office selects a non-profit organization to support with its “Jeans with a Cause” event. Employees can help fund local organizations by contributing $20 to wear jeans on Fridays. Last month the employees chose to support the Humane Society and the countless number of homeless dogs and cats within their care. Recently Georgia-Pacific’s (left)Yana Ogletree and (right) Michelle Palmore presented a check of approximately $800 to the executive director of the Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County, Kristy Bice.
