Lufkin’s Grandough Bakery- National Chocolate Cake Day!

Date:

In honor of National Chocolate Cake Day, Texas Forest Country Living has found a delicious feature from The Grandough Bakery, right here in Lufkin, Texas:

“Chocolate Madness,” by Justin Kezar

Justin Kezar who started Grandough in 2010, calls this their “Chocolate Madness,” or “Death by Chocolate” cake. Kezar describes this as a chocolate, 3-layer buttercream cake topped with dark chocolate ganache, chocolate candies, curls, and macaroons. He also tells us that they made this tasty looking creation as part of a fundraiser event for the Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin.

Voted “Best of the Best” by weddingandpartynetwork.com, Justin and his wife Teresa both run Grandough down in south Lufkin on the corner of Feagin Dr. and the loop and have concocted hundreds of tasty deserts such as this.
