One Book, One City- Venomous Snake Identification at the Public Library

(Nacogdoches, TX) – The One Book, One City book selection, True Grit, features an exciting scene involving Mattie Ross, the main character, and a pit of snakes. Ray Cole of Nacogdoches Fire Department’s Venom Response Team, will bring several varieties of snakes to teach audience members to identify friendly snakes from dangerous snakes. The Venomous Snake Identification program will be held at the Nacogdoches Public Library on Wednesday, October 4th at 5:30 pm. The program is suitable for all ages and no registration is required.
