Standpipe Coffee House
Standpipe is a perfect place to read a book, do schoolwork, or just hang out with a friend. I prefer a local coffee shop over a commercial chain coffee shop. Standpipe does not just offer coffee, they have some truly amazing teas as well! They also have some great food choices that are to die for!
Anytime I go the staff, they are always so nice, they always ask how my day is going. Anytime I ask them for anything they are so sweet and respectful. If you are ever in downtown Lufkin, I would recommend going to Standpipe.
Lia’s Kitchen
Lia’s Kitchen is one of the best places to eat in Downtown Lufkin. They have some great options such as Pad Thai Noodle, Lo Mien, and on Thursday and Friday, they have a Vietnamese dish called Pho. The staff here is also always kind and welcoming.
Lia’s Kitchen is located at 208 E Lufkin Ave Lufkin, TX 75901. They’re open Monday through Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Manhattan Fine Dining
If you are feeling elegant, Manhattan Fine Dining is the place for you; though it does cost a little bit more. They are located at 107 W Lufkin Ave, Lufkin, TX 75904. They have so many food options that are just wonderful. This would be a perfect place to bring your special someone for a date or a special occasion.
Historic downtown Lufkin has so many more restaurants. If you ever get a chance to visit downtown Lufkin, I encourage you to visit all of these places.
