LUFKIN – A road closure is scheduled for TV Road for work that could last up to two months.
Crews are scheduled to begin Wednesday, weather permitting, on the roadway that intersects US 69 North in Pollok. Motorists needing to access TV Road will be expected to use the main entry gate at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center until work is completed.
Drewery Construction, Nacogdoches TX, will serve as contractor for the $511,628.00 project that will include resurfacing the roadway.
Motorists are urged to obey all traffic control and expect possible shoulder and intermittent northbound single-lane closures on US 69 at TV Road as work progresses. Reduce speed and stay alert for workers and moving equipment near the intersection of US 69.
