The registration deadline for the Great Texas Birding Classic is approaching quickly. Join this fun, friendly, birdwatching competition. There are tournament categories for all ages and skill levels, so select the one that works best for you.

Here are some quick links to some of the event basics to get you started:

  • How to participate: All registration forms are online, so it’s easy to enter your team and participate!
  • Tournament advice: Learn from past participants the best tips for running a Big Sit!, doing a Big Day Tournament, mentoring a youth team, taking on the Weeklong Tournament, or birding with blind or visually impaired birders.
  • EZ Guide: Explore tools for site managers, birding groups, and community leaders who want to make the most out of the event by hosting or sponsoring a team of local birders.
  • Sponsorship tips: Learn how community organizations, bird clubs, local businesses and more could sponsor your team(s).
  • Conservation grant project proposal: Submit projects for a chance to win funding! Project proposals are due by May 1st. If you field a team and your team wins, you could be in a position to select your project proposal.
