Single Tickets for All Performances Go on Sale!

Date:

OPEN SEASON on all single tickets for all performances in the 2018-2019 season go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 6 at 11 am. This includes all performances within the Angelina Arts Alliance’s Performing Arts Series and Discovery Series.

The Angelina Arts Alliance is celebrating 18 years of bringing the very best from the world of performing arts to east Texas and this year’s Season Sponsors for the 2018-2019 Performing Arts Series are Georgia – Pacific and Southside Bank, along with the generous support from the T.L.L. Temple Foundation.

Each new season the Angelina Arts Alliance seems to raise the bar in terms of exceptional programming, and the 2018-2019 season does just that. The season line-up represents the best artists and performances in several genres. Starting in September and running through June patrons will enjoy performances by country music legend Travis Tritt and band (Sept 7), western swing heroes Asleep at the Wheel featuring the Quebe Sisters (Oct 14), a Holiday Big Band concert performed live by Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis (Dec 4), a hilarious touring Broadway musical Something Rotter (Jan 22), the vocal sensations of Jackie Evancho (Feb 1), a musical journey to Ireland with Celtic Nights (Mar 10), the visually stunning dance troupe Pilobolus in Shadowland the New Adventure (April 9), and rounding out the season with the optional performance of Finding Neverland (June 12), a second touring Broadway musical.

“So often people wait until the last minute to buy tickets only to find out that the show is sold-out. So don’t delay. Buy your tickets as soon as possible,” said Jennifer Allen, Executive Director of the Angelina Arts Alliance.

DeeDee Thomason, Box Office Manager, advises “By purchasing tickets online through our website there is no line and no busy signal, and even though there is a $6 per seat service charge, it is simple to ‘click’ and pick your seats.” For popular shows like Travis Tritt, she recommends starting your online search in the balcony where you will find the most seats to choose from. She added “If you prefer to shop in person, the box office opens at 11 am, so stop by or call.” By visiting the Angelina Arts Alliance website you will be able to review the entire season, learn details about each show and the performers, as well as check dates and ticket prices.

To purchase tickets, starting Monday, August 6, at 11 am sharp, go online at www.angelinaarts.org , call the box office at (936) 633-5454, or visit the Temple Theater box office in person. Box Office hours are Monday – Friday 11 am to 5 pm. Follow Angelina Arts Alliance on Facebook for late-breaking news and ticket giveaways.
