Study Group for Citizenship Exam – Additional Session

Date:

The Nacogdoches Public Library recently began a study group for
people wanting to prepare for the civics portion of the citizen naturalization exam.

“Our original schedule offered once-monthly study sessions. However, the students were so enthusiastic after this first session that we are offering another January session. We will likely add additional sessions to accommodate more students,” said Mercedes Franks, library director.

The additional January session will be January 23rd at 5:30 pm. Other study
sessions will take place February 20, March 19, April 16, and May 21.

At each session the group will practice 10-15 questions utilizing flashcards
provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services department. Sessions are free, require no registration, and may be attended in any order.
