Tee It Up For Teachers Golf Tournament To Benefit Teachers Across Angelina County

Date:

The 9th Annual Tee It Up For Teachers Golf Tournament will be held Monday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Crown Colony Country Club.

The goal is to work with the public schools in helping secure the additional resources needed for educating local children. Funds from the tournament provide training opportunities for Angelina County teachers from the county’s six independent school districts.

Teams will be four people, and sponsorships are available. A putting contest and five iron game will be held, and the person who makes a hole in one at hole 17 wins a $10,000 Walmart gift card.

Beer, soda and water as well as snacks will be available on the course throughout the day. The day concludes with hors d’oeuvres, golfer awards and door prize drawings.

Please note that because this is a full scramble format, team scoring will apply.
