Work Scheduled At Lufkin Intersection Tuesday

Date:

Work is scheduled on FM 324 (Bynum Street) in Lufkin on Tuesday that will require flaggers to direct traffic through a busy intersection throughout the day.

Lufkin maintenance crews will perform base repair work on Bynum Street at the intersection of Pershing Avenue. Workers will be near or in the middle of the intersection from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers during those hours.

Motorists are asked to obey flaggers and signage in the work area or choose alternative routes throughout the day. Stay alert and reduce speed in and near the work zone and watch for moving equipment. Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day, weather permitting.
