Angelina College to Hold Spring Career Fair Event Connects Students, Future Employers

Date:

Angelina College’s Office of Career and Transfer Connections exists to help students find and follow their chosen pathways to professional success.

In April, the office will host a “What’s Next?” Spring Career Fair at which students and potential future employers have the opportunity to get together and share ideas and dreams.

In her invitation to area employers, Alexandria Barney, Director of Career and Transfer Connections at AC, Barney states the event “provides a fantastic opportunity (for employers) to connect with talented students from Angelina College and area high schools who are eager to explore career paths, internships and employment opportunities within your industry.”

Employers in attendance will, according to Barney, have the unique ability to:

–Engage with motivated job seekers across various fields

–Promote your company while recruiting trained and qualified talent

–Strengthen your workforce pipeline while supporting higher education and career development.

The Spring Career Fair takes place from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10 inside the Angelina College Conference Center. Employers planning to attend are asked to complete the Employer Commitment Form by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 7.

The form is located at  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdy5KxzoVCpi-B9EVY68z_iBhlUTH7BeYZVRN4h9tEpjntHFg/viewform
