Date:

This year, with the help of community sponsors, The Coalition presented scholarships to the top six Angelina County Drug-Free All Stars. The six Drug-Free All Stars were selected for their commitment to promoting a drug-free lifestyle to their community and their involvement in the program throughout the year. The six Drug-Free All Stars selected to receive a scholarship were Nillah Alexander, graduate of Lufkin High School; Garin Ashby, graduate of Lufkin High School; Jade Beauchamp, graduate of Diboll High School; Sitlalli ‘Tia’ Davis, graduate of Lufkin High School; Shawni Poindexter, graduate of Diboll High School; and Jada Salaiz, graduate of Diboll High School. Thank you to the community partners who made these scholarships possible. Community donors include: Abeldt’s Pharmacy; Bartlett, Baggett, & Shands; Charanza Law Firm; Contractor’s Supplies; East Texas Asphalt; KSWP-KAVX; Southside Bank; Judge Wes Suiter and Dr. Cheryl Suiter, Pineywoods OB/GYN; and Whataburger/GVCS. We are proud of what our All Stars accomplished this year and look forward to their future achievements.
