Family Day at Texas Forestry Museum

Date:

Lufkin – It’s been a hot summer, but you can cool off at the Texas Forestry Museum’s Family Day. Family Day is on Saturday, August 10th from 10:30 a.m. until Noon. Bring your family to enjoy fun activities including a waterslide, popsicles, games, and more! We hope to see your family there and make sure to bring a towel. A special thank you to our event sponsor Davis Insurance, A Higginbotham Company and HEB. The event is free and open to the public. Photos will be taken at the event for promotional materials.

The Texas Forestry Museum, a private non-profit organization, is located at 1905 Atkinson Dr. in Lufkin. We are open from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except major holidays. For more information on the Texas Forestry Museum and its scheduled events, please call 936-632-9535.
