Tickets are available through the Temple Theater Box office and range from $27-$35 with Premium/Box seats at $40. Angelina Arts Alliance proudly presents THE HOT SARDINES along with show sponsor J.E. Kingham Construction Company. 2015-2016 15th Anniversary Season sponsors Georgia-Pacific and CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial.

When a New York City actor met a Parisian-born writer at a popular noodle shop in Manhattan, during an open jazz jam it was pure magic, and soon THE HOT SARDINES were bringing their contagious brand of joy to audiences all over the world. Considered by many to be the #1 jazz band in NYC, this 8-piece ensemble combines powerhouse musicians, a sultry lead singer, and their very own tap dancer to play “hot jazz” as it was in the era when live music was king…with a little glamour, a little grit, and a lot of passion. A review in THE TIMES (LONDON), described THE HOT SARDINES as “Simply phenomenal, crisp musicianship going hand in hand with immaculate and witty showmanship.” Even while giving voice to the history-defining jazz of the 1920’s, 30’s, and 40’s, THE HOT SARDINES’ vibrant performances bridge generations and capitivate 21st century audiences. Their brand of fun is described as, “unforgettably wild and consistently electrifying!”
