New Cardiologist Speaks For Diabetes Support Group

Dr. Yugandhar Manda, M.D., MRCP addressed members of the CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Diabetes Support Group on Thursday, August 4, about heart disease and the impact diabetes has on cardiovascular health. Dr. Manda, a board eligible cardiologist, is the newest physician at the Heart Institute of East Texas and specializes in cardiac, peripheral vascular interventions and structural heart disease. The Diabetes Support Group helps people adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle habits while managing with their condition. The group meets on the first Thursday of every month at noon and lunch is provided at this free event.
