Carranza Puppet Show Comes To The Livingston Library

Date:

The Carranza Puppets will perform at Livingston Municipal Library with a new hand puppet program called “The True Story of Little Red Riding Hood” Wednesday, July 27 at 10:30 a.m.

This version of the old folk fairy tale teaches viewers to hear both sides of a dispute before they decide who is right. It is told from the wolf’s point of view instead of Little Red’s. As the story comes alive through the use of puppetry and color, viewers will get the other side of the famous tale.

Partake of a bit of fantasy as the story reveals what the wolf says really happened with much humor and audience participation.

The Carranza Puppeteers have been doing shows for children since 1977. They are dedicated to performing puppet and marionette shows that are educational and entertaining. Original music is made for each year’s set of shows.

More information on Carranza Puppets can be found at this website.
