Museum of East Texas Art Camp

Come join the Museum of East Texas for Art Camp! Classes are available for students ages 3-14 in a variety of media. Each session of Art Camp meets Monday through Friday for a half day (9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 1 – 4 p.m.). Scholarships are available.

The Student Activities Association at Stephen F. Austin State University hosts a Summer Movie Series on Tuesday nights and Wednesday afternoons. While the community is always welcome to our year round movie program, the summer is designed for families and children! Join us at the Baker Pattillo Student Center 2nd Floor Theater Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and Wednesdays at 2 p.m. for a show! Cash only Concessions available : $1 items and $2 combo pack (drink, popcorn, and a candy).

Summer Stage Theater Festival at SFA

The Summer Stage Festival is slated for June 24 through July 16 in W.M. Turner Auditorium on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus. This year’s festival features the School of Theatre’s presentations of the children’s musical “A Year With Frog and Toad” by Robert and Willie Reale and “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” a witty comedy by actor, screenwriter, and stand-up comic Steve Martin.
