The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce played its 29th Annual Blueberry Golf Bash on Oct. 9 at Woodland Hills Golf Course, and the scorecards are in.
Etech 2 won the gross division — Mike Horton, Austin Dewitt, Bud Dewitt and Basey Swearingen. Lumberjack National took second with Austin Dewitt, Matt Augustine, Ben Bowser and Trey Pinnell. Austin Bank finished third on a scorecard playoff with Dustin Beavers, Nick Boland, Paul Holland and Davis Robinson.
In the net division, Strickland Plumbing, HVAC & Electric came in first with Cade Powell, Chase Serrano, Luis Hernandez and Jesus Hernandez. Ferrara’s Heating & Air Conditioning was second — Billy Dicks, Jason Johnson, David Carrizales and Dyane Carrizales. Lumberjack Harley-Davidson took third with Russell Brewster, Brian Lowrance, Jack Christensen and Trinity Bailey.
The chamber said the weather and the course both held up, and that the day did what the Golf Bash is for: putting business people on a course together for a few hours instead of across a desk. Entry money supports chamber programs. Team scores are posted at golfgenius.com, and the chamber is still adding photos to the event album.
The chamber thanked the players, volunteers and sponsors who ran the tournament.
