Georgia-Pacific Presents Scholarships to Diboll Day Queen Candidates

Date:

.This year marks the 65th anniversary of Diboll Day, an event that began in 1953 to raise funds for community projects. The annual event is highlighted by the coronation of the Diboll Day Queen. For years Queen candidates have raised millions of dollars to enhance the quality of life within the city—from funding public swimming pools, youth baseball complexes to Old Orchard Park enhancements, a day care center and a library.

Georgia-Pacific is proud to be a part of Diboll Day and is playing a role in the success of this year’s event by offering $10,000 in scholarship money to the Queen candidates.
