Looking for the perfect after-school snack? Then, this recipe is for you! While these treats are not 100 percent healthy, they are a healthy alternative to store bought, sugar-laden cookies. Each bite contains amazing nutrients such as: phytosterols, calcium, iron, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. In addition to the health benefits of this amazing snack, you and your children will also enjoy the flavor and energy from each bite. This recipe is so plentiful that you will have plenty to take to work with you and share with your coworkers.

We want to thank, Aimee Berrett, at “Like Mother, Like Daughter” on Pinterest where we used part of her recipe as the foundation for our own.

Blessings for a delicious, healthy, and wonderful week,
Kevin & Mom at Home Cooked Cuisine
