Texas Forestry Museum – Family Day

Date:

Lufkin – Come celebrate Family Day at the Texas Forestry Museum on Saturday, August 25th from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Since it is Timber, the museum mascot’s birthday, there will be cake, games, crafts, and a bouncy house! Also Texas A&M Forest Service’s Smokey Bear, Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council’s Leo the Lion, and Marco’s Pizza’s Chef Marco, will be making special appearances at the event to help Timber celebrate. The museum hopes to see your family there. This event is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by LiveWell Athletic Club. Photos will be taken at the event for promotional materials.

The Texas Forestry Museum, a private non-profit organization, is located at 1905 Atkinson Dr. in Lufkin. We are open from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except major holidays. For more information on the Texas Forestry Museum and its scheduled events, please call 936-632-9535.
