Ceremony Held for 16 New and Returning Students
Angelina College’s Visual and Performing Arts members celebrated the arrivals and returns of scholarship students in a signing ceremony held on Thursday inside Temple Theater.
A total of 16 students signed scholarships in one of the four disciplines offered: Visual Arts, Choir, Music (Band), and Theater.
VPA Chair Beckie Compton welcomed the students and their families.
“We’re super-stoked to have all of you here, and we welcome the new faces joining us for the new year while thanking those of you who are returning,” Compton said. “There’s a lot of excitement around all our programs as we get ready for the new year.”
