Bridge at Biloxi Creek Set for Replacement

Date:

LUFKIN – Barricades will be set next week signaling the beginning of a construction project on FM 841 in Angelina County.
Work is scheduled to replace the bridge and approaches at Biloxi Creek, located on FM 841/Ford Chapel Road. During the construction phase, the road at the bridge will be closed. Detour signs will be installed to direct motorists.
Stateline Construction, Texarkana, will serve as contractor for the $ 1 million project. No timeline for completion has been set. This will be a closed TxDOT work zone. Motorists are urged to reduce speed and use caution in the area. It is illegal to travel around TxDOT barricades, barrels or cones.
