I used blue and gold underneath my eyes to perfect my peacock look.

I have a few more last minute costume ideas for this week.

Makeup is key for these costumes!

I wrote about the peacock costume last week but wanted to include makeup to complete the costume this week. The key is to stick with the color scheme of the costume you created. I chose to do lines in blue, green, and purples on the sides of my eyes. I used blue and gold underneath my eyes. A bright pink lip stick and pink, green, blue, and purple on my forehead to tie it all together!

You can do spots on your face with brown eye shadow and do you hair in two buns to create a giraffe look!

Second is a giraffe, you can do spots on your face with brown eye shadow and do you hair in two buns! You can add ears made out of felt on the sides to tie the costume together. Also, you can just wear a tan or brown shirt to complete the look!

For family costumes you can chose from a favorite movie or book. My family did The Addams Family! Another awesome family at my church based their costume off the movie “Inside Out!” You can google pictures of the movie or book characters costumes. The most important thing is to stick with the color theme as much as possible and have fun with it!

Make sure to come back next Friday for more fashion tips!
