New Year, New You with Project Quit!

Project Quit, brought to you by The Coalition, is a FREE program open to any tobacco user, 21 years and older, who would like encouragement, support, and tips for trying to quit, cut back or stay quit. The program offers 4-week or 8-week tobacco cessation classes, ONLINE or IN-PERSON. With support and encouragement, you can double your chances of successfully quitting tobacco. Project Quit can be your start to a new life without tobacco! The program is free for all participants and all materials are included. ONLINE classes begin January 5th at 5:30PM and IN-PERSON classes begin January 4th at 5:30PM. The Coalition, Inc. focuses on eliminating the use of harmful substances by affecting public policy, laws, attitudes, and behaviors, all in an effort to foster healthy life-long choices for the local community. The Coalition is one of the oldest substance abuse prevention community coalitions in the United States.

Misty Boggs is the Creative Director at MSGPR. As a resident of Angelina County, she enjoys getting to spend time with her family at their tree farm or exploring new art forms at home. She earned her bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a minor in Creative Writing at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2020 and received her MBA in Marketing from Lamar University in 2024.
