Date:

The Judy B. McDonald Public Library has several events for the community including Tabletop Gaming, Creation Station, and Computer Courses.

Tabletop Gaming – January 4, 2016
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites community members of all ages to join in a new monthly event, Tabletop Gaming, with a kick-off event on Monday, January 4th at 5:30 p.m. Tabletop Gaming is an age-old communal and family activity, and there are many new and exciting games to challenge all skill levels.

Join old friends or new for a gaming evening with such favorites as Ticket to Ride, King of Tokyo, Munchkin, Settlers of Catan and more for teens and adults. Younger kids can play Apples to Apples, Clue, Monopoly or any of the other games the library provides. If you have a game, but you’d like to find new challengers, feel free to bring it along. Gamers will meet on the first Monday of each month this spring. The event is free and there is no registration required.

Creation Station – January 8, 2016
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites children ages 7-11 years to a Creation Station workshop on Friday, January 8th at 5:30 p.m. Participants will create their own designs or use one we provide with cool and colorful Perler beads that are fused with an iron. Please call 559-2970 to register by January 7th.

The Judy B. McDonald Public Library is excited to host the Creation Station program for children ages 7-11 years who share a passion for creativity in craft making, jewelry designs, and imaginative works of musical and visual art.
